Sr. Ma. Jacinta Malicat, MCSH

         It is with sadness that the congregation of the Missionary Catechists of the Sacred Heart announces the demise of our beloved Sr. Jacinta Malicat, MCSH.  She died of complications due to old age on September 23, 2010, she was 93. 

        Sr. Jacinta belongs to the pioneer batch of sisters who, together with the Mother Foundress, professed their first vows on October 7, 1947.  She had her perpetual profession of vows on October 5, 1950.

        Resurrection mass will be on Saturday, September 25, 9:00 am at the MCSH Motherhouse Chapel.  Interment follows at the memorial plot of the MCSH Sisters, Lipa Catholic Cemetery, Antipolo del Norte. 

        The congregation will surely miss Sr. Jacinta, the last of our founding sisters.   

Eternal rest grant unto Sr. Jacinta, oh Lord

And let the perpetual light shine upon her

May she rest in peace.
